Q1: How did you get to know about BMU and how did you come here?
A: It was through the Presidential Amnesty Program. A scholarship came through someone close to my dad.
He just took my name and added to his list.
Q2: Would you say that you're studying your course out of passion and would you say that you're walking in purpose?
A: Passion.
The only thing that really pushed me to study it was that my dad liked it. He talks a lot about it. I actually liked it too.
I was curious about the working mechanisms of the human body.
Q3: Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?
A: Well, for now, I see myself in the theatre. I think I should be married with kids.
I also feel there's something else I need to do asides medicine. I don't really know.
Q4: What's the greatest struggle you've ever faced as a student?
A: Getting finances and managing it.
Secondly, time management and balancing your life as a student.
Thirdly, emotional struggles.
Trying to balance your academics and relationship could be really tough if you and your partner are not that emotionally mature.
Q5: What's the hardest academic semester you've ever faced and what's the hardest academic moment you faced this semester and were times you cried?
A: I've never cried because of academics I think my hardest academic semester is now. I'm just wondering what's been going on.
I've actually faced series of tough times as a student and I overcame but this is the toughest so far.
Sometimes I feel down and lose momentum but I'll get there, I just have to keep going.
Q6: Do you believe in God and why?
A: Yes, I do. First of all, I was born into a Christian family and we grew up with the knowledge of God.
There are instances that I've seen true manifestations of His power, answers to prayers, etc. Those things make me believe in Him.
Q7: What does failure and success mean to you as a student?
A: Failure as a student is when you're not hitting or getting close to the target you set for yourself as a student.
Success means you're getting all what you projected for your academic life and you're also stable mentally.
Q8: Do you think that the academic success of a Christian, a Buddhist, a Pagan, an Atheist, a traditional worshipper, is dependent on their religion?
A: Not necessarily because there are people that don't believe in God and are still doing well.
God can help you but you have to read and pray for Him to bless your efforts.
Q9: What's your honest opinion about romantic relationships in school?
A: It depends.
Some people enter into a relationship to have that feeling of belonging.
Some actually want to build something serious out of it.
As a student, I don't think it's advisable to go into one unless you have that stability in mind and emotion.
Relationships can actually affect your education.
I think that the most important thing is that you know your utmost priority- the reason you came to school. Other things can come later.
Also you don't have to rush into things you know you don't need.
When it's time they'll come.
Q10: Do you wish to find your Mrs. Right in BMU if you have not already found her?
A: I can't tell, really.
Q11: Describe your medical journey in one word.
A: Faithful. God has been faithful.
