Fragments Of Me

(My first post on substack)

I'm a girl in my mid-teens,

struggling (not) between what is,

and what is not my identity.

Am I who I am because the world shaped me?

Or is this the real me beneath it all?

But if society hadn’t left its print,

would I even dare to have a self?

This place is my mirror,

where I spill everything I’ve held in,

where I write the words I almost said…

but never did.

where I write the things I always think but never say,
